Barça: Hansi Flick’s Harsh Stat After Defeat to Atlético
Despite some encouraging play, the result has been harsh for Hansi Flick at Barcelona. Last night, FC Barcelona suffered a disappointing home defeat to Atlético Madrid (1-2).
Although they controlled much of the match, the Blaugranas were punished by Atlético’s precise finishing, who took advantage of crucial moments, in contrast to the Catalans, who were ineffective in front of goal.
The situation is particularly bleak for the club, as in their last seven league games, they have only recorded one win, alongside four losses and two draws. For Hansi Flick, the statistics are clear—there is no denying the outcomes.
The Highest Defeat Rate Among the Last Four Barça Coaches!
The statistics are damning: compared to the past two seasons, the team’s points at the halfway point have sharply dropped. Two years ago, Xavi’s team had 50 points, last season they had 41, but this season they have only managed 38.
Even more worrying is that since Hansi Flick’s arrival, his defeat rate is 25%, the highest among the last four Barcelona managers.
Despite showing positive signs in their style of play, the 59-year-old German coach needs to make changes quickly, or this season may slip further from expectations and fade into insignificance.
