Real Madrid secured a 5-2 victory over their rivals and visitors, Celta Vigo, in the Round of 16 of the Spanish King’s Cup.

The team advanced to the quarter-finals after a thrilling match that went into extra time, with young Brazilian Endrick ultimately scoring a decisive goal.

According to reports from the Spanish newspaper “Defensa Central,” following the dramatic win over Celta Vigo and the team’s qualification for the quarter-finals, German defender Antonio Rudiger expressed his frustration toward his French teammate, Eduardo Camavinga, accusing him of being accountable for the critical errors made during the match.

Rudiger held Camavinga responsible for Celta Vigo’s goal, which resulted from a poor pass by the French player, allowing the opposing team to level the score. This was not the first time Camavinga’s actions had angered his teammates this season. During the Spanish Super Cup match against Barcelona, Camavinga’s careless mistake led to a penalty in Barcelona’s favor, contributing to Real Madrid’s humiliating 5-0 defeat.

Rudiger’s dissatisfaction with Camavinga’s performance led him to urge coach Carlo Ancelotti to leave the player out of future squads to avoid further embarrassment and prevent any further deterioration of the team’s harmony.

The pressure on Camavinga has been mounting this season, particularly due to his repeated errors that have negatively impacted the team’s overall performance. As a result, Rudiger is calling for a reevaluation of Camavinga’s role in the starting lineup.
