Real Madrid
I’m so happy He came to our rescue last night,if not for Him fans would have been attacking Us by now”, Pep Guardiola praises One Man City Star for His superB performance that turn around the game today Home/Blog Blog It has been confirmed that the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has reverted back the Red Card after Real Madrid Apeal vs Valencia and the team was awarded three points for their performance
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti voiced his disagreement with the red card shown to Vinícius Jr during their clash against Valencia. In the post-match media briefing, Ancelotti argued that the situation should have led to two yellow cards, one for Vinícius Jr and another for Valencia goalkeeper Dimitrievski.
“We think it wasn’t a red card offense,” Ancelotti commented. “It should have been two yellows. Dimitrievski was the one who made contact first, and then Vinícius Jr reacted. We are going to appeal the decision.”
Ancelotti also praised his team’s determination to overcome the challenges, including Vinícius Jr’s sending off, a missed penalty, and a goal ruled out. “It’s hard to explain why we performed poorly in the first half and then responded so well in the second half, even with only 10 players. We can’t afford to show such contrasting performances.”
On the result, Ancelotti labeled it as “fair and deserved,” pointing out the team’s improved display after the break. “The first half was very poor, lacking in balance. Valencia began the match more strongly.”
The manager also spoke about the ongoing penalty issues, which have plagued the team this season. “We’ve missed three penalties this year, and I take full responsibility for choosing who takes them moving forward.”
Ancelotti clarified that Jude Bellingham’s missed penalty wasn’t retaken because Dimitrievski hadn’t touched the ball, even though both of his feet were off the line.
