As of February 1, 2025, Arsenal is actively pursuing reinforcements to bolster their attacking options, especially in light of injuries to key players like Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka. The club has been linked with several forwards, including Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa and Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich.

 

Arsenal recently made a £60 million bid for Ollie Watkins, which was rejected by Aston Villa. Manager Mikel Arteta has expressed the club’s urgent need to strengthen the squad, stating that they are exploring all possible opportunities to improve the team.

 

Additionally, Arsenal has shown interest in Mathys Tel, a young attacker from Bayern Munich. However, Tel has rejected an offer from Tottenham Hotspur and is considering his options, with Arsenal and Manchester United being potential destinations if he decides to leave Bayern.

 

In terms of departures, 18-year-old defender Ayden Heaven has left Arsenal to join Manchester United on a contract running until June 2029. Heaven made his senior debut with Arsenal in October and was considered a promising talent within the club’s youth ranks.
