Chelsea
For sure’ – Fabrizio Romano 100% confirms Liverpool summer transfer story that’ll have Arteta sweating
LChelsea’s hunt for a new striker this summer is intensifying, with Alexander Isak still being associated with the Anfield side.
As per Fabrizio Romano’s latest update on his YouTube channel, Isak remains the main focus for the Blues, leaving Arsenal—who are believed to be keeping a close eye on developments—on edge.
Isak, a long-term target for the Gunners, is seen as a prime option by manager Mikel Arteta. However, Newcastle United have stated that the Swedish forward is not available for transfer, emphasizing that he is untouchable.
“I would have done anything to keep him!” – which departure from Man United ranks among Ferguson’s greatest regrets?
Romano now indicates that any offer for Isak must surpass €70-90 million to persuade Newcastle to sell, with both Arsenal and Liverpool ready to compete in the bidding process.
With Darwin Nunez expected to depart in the summer, Isak is among the candidates to replace him. Liverpool are preparing for a busy transfer window, and Romano suggests Isak could be a crucial part of their future plans.

For Arsenal, however, Isak is not just a target—he is an obsession, according to Romano. “I wanted to reconfirm the striker targets I previously mentioned. Without a doubt, Alexander Isak is Arsenal’s priority, but Liverpool are also keeping a close watch on the situation. So, both Liverpool and Arsenal will be involved in the race for the player, and it ultimately hinges on Newcastle’s decision regarding his future.
“If you ask Newcastle today, they maintain that the player is unavailable and untouchable. However, when these clubs submit substantial offers, we will have to wait and see what figures they are willing to present. Forget about €70-80-90 million; it will have to be even higher to persuade Newcastle.”
