Chelsea forced me to sign for Tottenham but I dislike Spurs as much now as I did then
Chelsea made me join Tottenham, but my dislike for Spurs remains just as strong now as it was back then.
Picture being forced into a decision you never wanted, entering a world that never felt like your own. That was my experience when Chelsea arranged my transfer to Tottenham. It wasn’t my decision, nor was it a dream move—it was something I had to do. From the moment I donned the Spurs shirt, I was not invested. The club, the culture, the very spirit of Tottenham—none of it ever connected with me. And now, reflecting on it, my feelings have not changed at all. If anything, my indifference has turned into a firm belief. Some connections are simply not meant to happen, and for me, Tottenham was always a club I couldn’t warm to, then or now.
