FC Barcelona secured a dominant 4-1 win over Girona in their La Liga encounter at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, largely thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s double in the second half. The Polish forward’s precise finishing played a key role, allowing Barcelona to establish control over their Catalan counterparts.

Nevertheless, the match was not without its unsettling moments for Barcelona supporters. In the 53rd minute, a poor pass from Ronald Araujo led to Girona’s only goal, drawing significant criticism from fans. This error by Araujo was not an isolated case, as he has been responsible for similar blunders in the past, such as during Barcelona’s Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.

Supporters turned to social media to voice their dissatisfaction with Araujo’s performance, with many urging the club to sell the defender. The backlash focused on Araujo’s struggle to pass accurately under pressure and his difficulties with defensive positioning. While Barcelona’s win over Girona was a positive outcome, Araujo’s mistakes highlighted the ongoing defensive concerns for the team.
