According to **Christian Falk**, a prominent **Sport Bild** journalist, **Manchester City** is eyeing **Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo** for a move in the upcoming transfer window. The English club is in search of a successor to Belgian star **Kevin De Bruyne**, who is set to exit at season’s end.
Initially, **Bayer Leverkusen’s Wirtz** was a top target for City, and his agents had traveled to England for discussions. However, recent updates suggest the player is nearing a deal with **Bayern Munich**.
Falk reported that **City** is now targeting the 27-year-old **Olmo** as an alternative to Wirtz.
He also noted that since **Dani Olmo** hasn’t been a consistent starter under **Hansi Flick**, **Barcelona** may be open to a sale if the offer
is significant.
