As stated by *GiveMeSport*, referencing *Fabrizio Romano*, the Merseyside outfit have shifted their focus to acquiring Ajax standout *Jorrel Hato*.

*Hato* has already played in over 100 matches for *Ajax* and has collected six appearances for the *Netherlands* national team, underlining his composure and promise despite his youth.

Liverpool’s interest in *Hato* has intensified as they continue their efforts to strengthen their backline following their failure to land *Huijsen*.

*Hato’s* adaptability enables him to function both as a central defender and on the left side, making him an important option for overall squad reinforcement.

With ongoing doubts over the future of *Jarrel Quansah* and increasing worries about the injury record of *Joe Gomez*, the Reds could opt for a younger defensive signing this window.

*Romano* told *GiveMeSport*:

“For sure *Hato* is one of the players appreciated at *Liverpool*, let’s see also what *Arsenal* decide to do.”

He is a youthful defender with considerable room to develop, and his positional flexibility is a major reason behind *Liverpool’s* pursuit.

The young talent has been a fixture in *Ajax’s* first team for the past three seasons, illustrating that even at such an early stage of his car

eer, he possesses valuable experience.
