Diogo Jota car crash scene footage emerges after tragic death of Liverpool player and his brother
Footage showing the location of the fatal car accident that resulted in the deaths of Liverpool star Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva has surfaced – revealing how the vehicle initially left the roadway.
The collision, which took place in Zamora, northwestern Spain, happened during the early hours of Thursday morning.
The Spanish Guardia Civil have reported that, according to their preliminary investigation, the car experienced a tyre blowout while overtaking, causing it to leave the road.
It then caught fire and, based on accounts from witnesses who contacted the emergency 1-1-2 service, became “engulfed in flames.”
Jota, aged 28, and his 26-year-old brother, who was also a professional footballer, were confirmed as the victims of the accident.
Tributes have poured in from the football community and beyond, with Liverpool stating: “Liverpool Football Club are devastated by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota.
“The club have been informed the 28-year-old has passed away following a road traffic accident in Spain along with his brother, Andre.
“Liverpool FC will be making no further comment at this time and request the privacy of Diogo and Andre’s family, friends, teammates and club staff is respected as they try to come to terms with an unimaginable loss.
“We will continue to provide them with our full support.”

It also reveals the wreckage of the Lamborghini, which we have decided not to show here.
