As reported by *The Mirror*, Manchester United’s interest in signing OGC Nice midfielder Hicham Boudaoui might be delayed until later in the current transfer period.

While the club has marked the Algerian as a desired addition, the transaction is made more difficult due to the fact that both Manchester United and Nice are under INEOS ownership, which complicates direct negotiations.

Still, it is thought that the move might be completed closer to the transfer deadline if both sides can reach a deal. Boudaoui moved to Nice from Paradou AC in 2019 for a fee of approximately €4 million and has since played 175 matches, recording 13 goals and 13 assists.

United are aiming for a major squad rebuild following a dismal campaign that ended with them placing 16th—marking their lowest-ever finish in the Premier League.

Manager Ruben Amorim is determined to strengthen the midfield, viewing Boudaoui—who recently won the Africa Cup of Nations—as a key figure in the team’s planned revival.

**Transfer Source Encourages United to Reduce Jadon Sancho’s Asking Price**

Transfer go-between Vincenzo Morabito has openly recommended that Manchester United decrease their asking price for Jadon Sancho if they intend to offload him during the summer window.

Sancho is said to be excluded from Amorim’s long-term vision and has been placed on the market. Speaking to *Radio CRC* (via *FotMob*), Morabito stated:

**“Ruben Amorim has made it clear that he doesn’t want Sancho or Marcus Rashford in pre-season training. United can’t expect €25 million for a player with only one year left on his contract and who earns €18 million annually.”**

He also mentioned that while the transfer could happen, United might need to be flexible:

**“It’s doable, but we’ll see how firm United are. Sancho is a talented player and performed fairly well at Chelsea.”**

He added that Juventus had shown interest last year when Cristiano Giuntoli was in charge, though a deal didn’t materialize.
