Arsenal have finalized a five-year contract arrangement with Viktor Gyökeres and are currently negotiating a transfer price for the forward.

The North London side are reportedly close to securing the prolific Sporting striker in a major move. Terms on a five-year contract with the Swedish star have supposedly been agreed, with a salary exceeding £200,000 per week following his outstanding tally of 54 goals last season.

However, Sporting are holding firm in their valuation, demanding close to £70 million—requiring a minimum of £60 million paid upfront, with further sums through performance-based add-ons. Arsenal are said to be pushing to conclude the deal. Gyökeres, 27, believes there was a *”gentleman’s agreement”* allowing him to leave for £60 million and is enthusiastic about a move to the Emirates.
