BREAKING: Liverpool Owners Back Major Signing as “World-Class” Star Set for Anfield Move.
Milos Kerkez Set to Be a Key Transfer Target This Summer
Milos Kerkez is emerging as a major player to watch in the upcoming transfer window. His standout performances for Bournemouth this season have made it highly likely that the club will receive multiple offers, which could be difficult to reject. Credit must be given to Bournemouth and manager Andoni Iraola for trusting him, aiding his development, and retaining him last summer despite strong interest from several clubs. However, sources close to Kerkez indicate that this time, the situation could unfold differently.
**Liverpool Have Been Monitoring Kerkez Since 2024**
In January, Kerkez made a significant move by signing with agent Fali Ramadani and Lian Sports, a step that suggests he may be open to a new challenge. Ramadani, who also represents Federico Chiesa, has strong connections with Liverpool and other top European clubs, increasing the likelihood of a summer transfer.
Liverpool’s interest in Kerkez dates back to 2024, but at the time, he was not available for a move. With the club still eager to strengthen their left-back options in 2025, they remain highly interested. Liverpool director Richard Hughes has a well-established relationship with both Bournemouth and Kerkez, which could be crucial in potential negotiations.
**Slot Has Approved a Move – Expected Price Around €45M**
While no deal has been finalized yet, Liverpool are determined to bring in a new left-back this summer, along with a centre-back. Kerkez is one of three primary targets already approved by Arne Slot. Discussions are expected to progress over the coming months, with the Hungarian full-back eager to compete in the Champions League.
Bournemouth’s final asking price will be set closer to the summer, but the expected valuation is around **€40-45 million**.
**Manchester United Showed Interest in January – Chelsea and Atletico Madrid Also Scouting**
Manchester United had Kerkez high on their shortlist during the January window but were unable to secure a deal as Bournemouth refused to sell. As a result, United shifted their focus to Patrick Dorgu, making a renewed pursuit for Kerkez unlikely.
Meanwhile, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have been closely monitoring him throughout the season, with scouts attending multiple games. This suggests that other clubs could still emerge as contenders. However, Liverpool remain in the strongest position, and with the transfer window approaching, competition for his signature is expected to heat up.
