BREAKING NEWS: “He was completely forgotten… but now he’s absolutely KEY! His performance DESTROYED Leicester in Manchester United’s 3-0 victory!”

Jose Mourinho has never been one to hold back his opinions, and this time, he has given a glowing assessment of a Manchester United player whose commanding performance was the key factor in their dominant 3-0 win over Leicester City. Previously overlooked, this player has now become a vital piece under Ruben Amorim, and Mourinho insists that United must continue to build their team around him.

“He was completely forgotten,” Mourinho said after the match. “But against Leicester, he was absolutely perfect. His performance changed everything—he dominated midfield, controlled the tempo, and ensured United were in total control. If Amorim wants to keep winning, this man HAS to start every game.”

United’s victory was a statement, highlighting their attacking prowess, defensive organization, and most importantly, dominance in midfield. But according to Mourinho, none of this would have been possible without this player’s brilliance. His ability to control the game, break through opposition lines, and provide defensive cover was the foundation of United’s commanding display.

Many supporters have started to speculate about which player Mourinho was referring to. Could it be Scott McTominay, whose tireless energy and defensive contributions neutralized Leicester’s midfield? Or is it Christian Eriksen, whose passing range and vision dictated United’s rhythm? Some even suspect it might be Donny van de Beek, a player who has struggled for minutes but demonstrated glimpses of his undeniable talent.

Regardless of who it is, one thing is certain—United looked like a completely different side with this player in the starting lineup. Leicester had no answers for his movement, pressing, and ability to connect defense to attack. Whenever the visitors attempted to build momentum, he was there to disrupt their flow. Whenever United pushed forward, he played a crucial role in linking play.

Mourinho, a tactical mastermind who guided United to Europa League success in 2017, understands exactly what it takes to control a game. His praise for this player is not just recognition—it’s a tactical recommendation. He knows that winning is built on discipline, composure, and the ability to dictate matches from midfield.

Ruben Amorim, still in the early phase of his reign at Old Trafford, now faces an important choice. Will he acknowledge the influence of this performance and make this player a consistent starter? Or will he opt for rotation, potentially disrupting the momentum United have just gained?

For the supporters, this match offered a glimpse of what United can become under Amorim—a team that dictates games, punishes opponents, and plays with authority. However, maintaining consistency is crucial, and Mourinho’s remarks suggest that United may have finally found the missing piece to solidify their midfield.

With the Premier League battle intensifying and United pushing to climb higher in the standings, there is no room for mistakes. Mourinho has made his view clear—this player is now indispensable to the team’s success.
