Real Madrid Reaches Copa del Rey Final Despite Dramatic 4-4 Draw

Real Madrid earned their spot in the Copa del Rey final following a dramatic 4-4 draw, winning 5-4 on aggregate. The game included two unfortunate own goals by David Alaba, which temporarily put Madrid under pressure.

After the match, head coach Carlo Ancelotti attributed these moments to “bad luck” rather than individual errors. He highlighted the need for better defensive focus but remained supportive of Alaba and the team’s overall performance.

No Signs of Tension Between Alaba and Ancelotti

Despite rumors, there are no credible reports suggesting Alaba was displeased with Ancelotti’s comments. Furthermore, no verified information indicates that Ancelotti made any upsetting statements to the defender after the final whistle.

Ancelotti, known for his composed and diplomatic nature, has focused on constructive feedback rather than assigning blame. His statements have emphasized the team’s resilience and the need for defensive improvements.

Madrid’s Focus Now Turns to the Final

With their spot in the final secured, Real Madrid now shifts focus to addressing defensive weaknesses and ensuring they are fully prepared for the upcoming title match. Unless official sources confirm otherwise, any rumors about internal disputes should be regarded with caution.

For now, the narrative remains clear—Madrid has advanced through a tense semifinal, and Ancelotti continues to support his players as they prepare for the next big challenge.
