Phil Foden bids farewell after confirmed Man City exit news
Phil Foden shared several posts in honor of Kevin De Bruyne after the latter revealed his plan to depart from Manchester City at the season’s end.
De Bruyne’s exit had been anticipated throughout the season, as his contract was nearing its end and talks of an extension had made little headway.
His future had been a topic of constant discussion, and as his playing time diminished, the possibility of De Bruyne leaving Manchester City seemed more likely.
The 33-year-old has featured in only 12 league matches this season, as Pep Guardiola has struggled to establish consistency within a squad currently in fifth place in the Premier League.
On 4 April, De Bruyne ended the speculation by confirming he would be leaving Manchester City in the summer. In response, Foden honored him with a sincere tribute, praising his legacy and impact during their shared time at the Etihad.
