BREAKING NEWS: “He Will Be the First to Go!” — Xabi Alonso’s Arrival Reportedly Triggers SHOCK Mohamed Salah Exit as the King Prepares for a Final Anfield Farewell.

The End of an Era: “The Decision is Already Made!”

The “Anfield-style” heartbreak has reached a “nuclear” level. As Liverpool F.C. prepares for the highly anticipated arrival of Xabi Alonso this summer, the club has officially confirmed the departure that fans feared most. Mohamed Salah, the “Egyptian King” who redefined the modern Reds, has announced he will leave the club on June 30, 2026.

The announcement, made on Tuesday, March 24, has sent “shattering” shockwaves through the footballing world. Despite having a contract until 2027, Salah and the Liverpool hierarchy have reportedly reached a “mutual agreement” to allow the legend to pursue a new challenge as the club enters a “total reset.”

The Alonso Factor: A “New Era” Requires Tough Decisions

While the return of Xabi Alonso is being hailed as a “tactical masterclass,” the Spaniard has reportedly made it clear that he requires “full autonomy” over squad development. Insiders suggest that while Alonso has “immense respect” for Salah, both parties feel that a £60m+ transfer this summer is the “only way” to fund the necessary rebuild.

• The Replacement: Alonso has reportedly identified Real Madrid sensation Arda Güler as his “primary target” to fill the void on the right wing.

• The “Dream Pair”: Alonso is also rumored to be eyeing a reunion with Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong, signaling a “complete transformation” of the Liverpool starting XI.

The “Beloved Star” fans beg to keep

While Salah’s exit is “set in stone,” the “fans begging” doesn’t stop there. The “emotional reactions” flooding social media are also centered on Virgil van Dijk. With the captain also entering the final phase of his career and recently failing a “surprise fitness test” with the Netherlands, the fear is that Alonso’s “ruthless efficiency” could see the #4 follow the #11 out of the exit door.

The Destination: Saudi Arabia or a European Giant?

Where will the King land? While Jamie Carragher has predicted a move to another European giant to “keep chasing records,” the Saudi Pro League remains the “financial favorite.” Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal are reportedly preparing “world-record” contract offers that would make Salah the highest-paid athlete on the planet.

Fans React: “The Heart is Breaking!”

The “United DNA” might be about passion, but “Liverpool loyalty” is about the legends. The Kop is currently in a “state of mourning.”

• “Salah leaving is the end of my childhood. I know Alonso is coming, but how do you replace 200+ goals? This hurts more than Klopp leaving!” one fan tweeted.

• “We lost Trent to Madrid, now Salah is gone… if Virgil leaves too, there’s nothing left of the old team. I trust Xabi, but this is a lot to take at once,” added another.

What’s Next? The “Last Dance” in the Champions League
