BREAKING NEWS: “I’m Disgusted!” — Mohamed Salah Reportedly Slams Arne Slot After Being Benched in “Pathetic” 2-0 Paris Collapse.

The Paris Exclusion: “This is the Second Time!”

The “Anfield-style” drama has officially exploded into a “nuclear” confrontation. On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, Liverpool F.C. suffered a “shattering” 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League Quarter-Final.

However, the “real earthquake” occurred before kickoff at the Parc des Princes. In a “bold and controversial” move, head coach Arne Slot dropped Mohamed Salah to the bench, opting for a front three of Hugo Ekitike, Florian Wirtz, and Dominik Szoboszlai. Salah, who was visibly “furious” upon arrival, has reportedly broken his silence on the “disgraceful” treatment he has received.

“JUST BECAUSE I DON’T SPEAK DOESN’T MEAN I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M DOING… THE THINGS SLOT SAID TO ME WERE UNACCEPTABLE!” — SALAH FUMES 😱💣

The Dressing Room Row: What Was Said?

Reports from TNT Sports and ESPN suggest a “heated” exchange took place in the dressing room when the team sheet was announced.

• The Slot Verdict: Slot reportedly justified the benching by citing Salah’s “lack of fitness” and his “invisible” performance during the 4-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City, where he missed a crucial penalty.

• The Salah Response: Salah is said to feel “thrown under the bus,” especially after he announced his departure at the end of this season. He reportedly told teammates: “I FEEL DISGUSTED… I’VE GIVEN EVERYTHING FOR THIS BADGE ONLY TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS!” 📌📌

The Match Horror: 2-0 and “No Identity”

Without their talisman for the first 60 minutes, Liverpool looked “completely lost.”

• 11′: Desire Doue fires PSG ahead after a defensive lapse.

• 65′: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia—a top target for Manchester United—doubles the lead with a “painting” of a goal shortly after Salah was finally introduced.

• The Stats: Despite coming on, Salah was “isolated” and failed to register a single shot on target as the Reds suffered their 17th defeat of the season.

IF WHAT SALAH IS SAYING IS TRUE, THEN ARNE SLOT MUST LEAVE THE CLUB! 📌📌

The Gerrard Verdict: “Use it as Motivation”

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard addressed the “surprise selection” call on TNT Sports, urging Salah to keep his discipline. “YOU HAVE TO BE READY WHEN YOUR OPPORTUNITY COMES,” Gerrard said. However, even the former captain admitted that seeing the club’s top scorer on the bench in a “Titanic” quarter-final was “shocking.”

Fans React: “The Bond is Broken!”

The “vocal negative reaction” from the traveling Kop was directed as much at the dugout as it was at the scoreboard.

• “Benching Salah in Paris? Slot has officially lost his mind. He’s trying to show who’s boss, but all he’s doing is destroying our season!” one fan tweeted.

• “Salah is right—Slot has been pointing fingers since the City game. If the manager and the star player are at war, the season is over,” added another.

What’s Next? The “Sack Race” Reaches Paris

With the board “deeply concerned” and rumors of Jürgen Klopp’s return on July 1st gaining “unstoppable” momentum, Slot is a “dead man walking.” Liverpool must overturn a 2-0 deficit at Anfield next Tuesday, but with Salah and Slot in a “full-blown civil war,” the prospect of a miracle seems “decidedly arduous.”
