BREAKING NEWS: “They Still Won’t Win!” — John Obi Mikel Stuns Manchester United Fans with “Nuclear” Prediction for Leeds Rivalry.

The “Unfiltered” Verdict: “I’m Very Sure of That!”

The “War of the Roses” hasn’t even kicked off, but the “nuclear” tension is already at a boiling point. Following Frank Lampard’s “shattering” prediction that Manchester United could score five tonight, former Chelsea and Super Eagles legend John Obi Mikel has reportedly fired back with a “disgraceful” assessment of the Red Devils’ chances.

Speaking on the latest episode of his “vocal” podcast on Monday, April 13, 2026, Mikel claimed that despite the “stratospheric” form of Michael Carrick’s side, the historic rivalry with Leeds United will produce a “shattering” shock at Old Trafford.

“EVEN IF THEY USE ALL THEIR BEST PLAYERS, THEY STILL WON’T WIN TODAY… I’M VERY SURE OF THAT!” — MIKEL REPORTEDLY DECLARES 😱💣

The “Mikel” Logic: Why United Will Fail

Mikel’s “vicious” prediction centers on the psychological pressure of the “Titanic” battle for a Champions League spot.

• The Rivalry Factor: Mikel argued that Leeds, currently fighting for their “survival” at the bottom of the table, will find a “nuclear” level of intensity that United simply cannot match in a “derby” atmosphere.

• The “Carrick” Doubt: While many are hailing Carrick as the “Next Klopp,” Mikel suggested that the United manager is “prone to overthinking” these massive rivalry fixtures.

• The Quote: “United look good on paper, but Leeds are playing for their lives. In a game like this, tactics go out the window. United will bottle it.” 📌🔥

The Stats Conflict: A “Pathetic” Prediction?

United fans have been quick to point out the “shattering” reality of the league table:

• The Record: United have won 8 of their last 10 home games at Old Trafford.

• The Defense: With Lisandro Martínez and Matthijs de Ligt in “world-class” form, United have conceded the fewest home goals in the league this season.

• The Leeds Form: Leeds haven’t won an away game in two months, leading many to call Mikel’s prediction “completely identity-less and pathetic.”

The “Controversy” Online: “Mikel Just Wants Clicks!”

The “vocal negative reaction” from the United faithful has dominated social media trends tonight.

• “Mikel is just bitter because Carrick is doing what he couldn’t—leading a top team to glory. 3-0 United, and Mikel will be silent tomorrow!” one fan tweeted.

• “He’s right! Leeds always turn up for this one. United are arrogant right now and that’s when they lose!” countered a Leeds supporter.

What’s Next? The Old Trafford Showdown

With kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM tomorrow, the pressure is on the pitch. Will John Obi Mikel’s “nuclear” prediction come true, or will Manchester United prove that they are the “titanic” force the league fears?
