BREAKING NEWS: “Avoid the Match!” — John Obi Mikel Delivers “Nuclear” Warning to Fans Ahead of Sunday’s North West Derby Shock.

The “Nuclear” Prediction: “It Will Shock the Whole World!”

The “vocal euphoria” surrounding the North West Derby has just been “hijacked” by a “stratospheric” bombshell from a Premier League icon. Today, Friday, May 1, 2026, former Chelsea and Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel has reportedly issued a “vicious” warning to both sets of fans ahead of tomorrow’s “Titanic” clash at Old Trafford.

Speaking on the latest episode of The Obi One Podcast, Mikel reportedly claimed that the gap between Manchester United and Liverpool has shifted so “shatteringly” that fans might want to “avoid watching” the carnage. Mikel’s “nuclear” prediction suggests that one side is about to suffer a defeat so “identity-less” and “shameful” that it will change the narrative of the entire 2025/26 season.

The “Vicious” Shift: Why Mikel is Worried for Liverpool

Mikel’s prediction is reportedly rooted in the “pure electricity” currently flowing through Michael Carrick’s squad.

• The “Carrick” Revolution: United enter the game on the back of a “stratospheric” run, needing just two points to secure Champions League football. Mikel reportedly believes Carrick has restored the “Titanic” DNA that the club had during his own playing days.

• The Liverpool Decline: With Mohamed Salah nursing a “vocal” hamstring injury and rumors of an “Anfield Exodus” involving Alisson Becker and Andy Robertson, Mikel reportedly feels the Reds are “dangerously vulnerable.”

• The “Pocket” Factor: Mikel reportedly noted that with Leny Yoro and Kobbie Mainoo in world-class form, United’s “identity” is simply too “nuclear” for this current Liverpool side to handle.

The “U-Turn” History: Why Mikel Knows Old Trafford

In a “vocal and emotional” segment of his podcast, Mikel reminded listeners of his own history with the Red Devils.

• The Famous Snub: Mikel famously signed for United before making a “stratospheric” U-turn to join Chelsea. “I know what that stadium does to you when the momentum is swinging,” he reportedly said.

• The “Home Game” Feel: Mikel noted that United are playing with such “pure electricity” right now that even “vicious” rivalries feel like a foregone conclusion.

• The Record: United are looking to complete a “Titanic” league double over Liverpool for the first time since the 2015/16 season.

• The Midfield War: With Casemiro signing a “nuclear” new contract and Sandro Tonali reportedly undergoing a medical, United’s “identity” is peaking at the perfect moment.

Fans React: “Mikel Knows!” vs. “He’s Trolling Us!”

The “vocal euphoria” on social media has reached a “boiling point” following Mikel’s “shock the world” comments.

• “Mikel Obi always tells the truth. He knows United are stratospheric right now. If he’s telling fans to avoid the match, Liverpool are getting destroyed. The King of the North is back!” one fan tweeted.

• “Mikel is just trying to trigger us. We are Liverpool—we don’t do ‘shock defeats.’ Salah will play and he will destroy that defense. This prediction is identity-less nonsense!” a defiant supporter fumed.

What’s Next? The Old Trafford Massacre?

Will Mikel Obi’s “nuclear” prediction come true, or will Arne Slot produce a “miracle” at the Theater of Dreams? With the world watching, tomorrow’s North West Derby is set to be “Titanic.”
