EMOTIONAL MOMENT: Bruno Fernandes Reportedly Reacts to Rumoured Matthijs de Ligt Exit as Manchester United Dressing Room Left in Shock.

Manchester United supporters have been left stunned after sensational rumours emerged claiming defender Matthijs de Ligt could be preparing to leave Old Trafford far sooner than anyone expected.

The speculation, which has spread rapidly across social media, alleges that De Ligt informed his teammates of his intention to move on, leaving the Manchester United dressing room in complete disbelief.

According to the verified claims, club captain Bruno Fernandes was among those most affected by the alleged announcement and is reported to have spoken emotionally about the situation.

The circulating reports attribute the following comments to Fernandes:

“Everyone was stunned when De Ligt announced that he’ll be leaving Manchester United. None of us expected it because he’s been our best player since he joined our team.”

If authentic, the remarks would represent a huge statement from Manchester United’s captain and underline the importance of De Ligt within the squad.

Since arriving at Old Trafford, De Ligt has quickly established himself as one of the team’s key defensive figures. His composure under pressure, aerial dominance, leadership qualities and experience at the highest level have earned praise from supporters and teammates alike.

Many fans believe the Dutch international has become a cornerstone of Manchester United’s defence, helping bring greater stability and confidence to the back line.

News of a potential departure has therefore sparked widespread debate among supporters, with many questioning why the club would allow such an influential player to leave after such a short period.

If the rumours were ever to become reality, Manchester United would face the difficult task of replacing one of their most experienced defenders while maintaining the defensive progress made in recent months.

However, there is currently no official confirmation that De Ligt has informed the club or his teammates that he intends to leave. Likewise, there has been no verified statement from Bruno Fernandes supporting the quotes circulating online.

Neither Manchester United nor De Ligt has announced plans for an exit, and no official source has confirmed that such a conversation took place inside the dressing room.

As always during the transfer window, supporters are encouraged to treat viral social media claims with caution until they are confirmed by the club or other reliable sources.

For now, Manchester United remain focused on preparations for the new season, while fans continue to monitor developments surrounding the squad and any potential transfer activity.

Should any official update emerge regarding De Ligt’s future, it would undoubtedly become one of the biggest stories involving Manchester United this summer.
