BREAKING NEWS: Fede Reveals the One United Legend Who Convinced Him to Choose Old Trafford!

The biggest transfer of the 2026 summer window has reportedly been “unlocked.” While Michael Carrick continues his miracle run at Old Trafford, the INEOS board has reportedly moved to secure the “engine” of their next dynasty. Federico Valverde, the Real Madrid powerhouse, has finally broken his silence on the rumors linking him with a record-shattering £104M move to Manchester United.

While European giants like PSG and Manchester City were circling, Valverde has revealed that his heart was set on Manchester long ago—all thanks to a “lifelong dream” of playing with one specific United star.

“It Was Always United”—Valverde’s Admission

Speaking to reporters in Madrid following a reported “collision course” with manager Alvaro Arbeloa, Valverde admitted that his relationship with the current Real coaching staff has reached a breaking point. But more than just leaving Madrid, the Uruguayan is focused on joining the “Carrick Revolution.”

“Since I was young, I’ve always admired Manchester United. Despite receiving several huge offers from top European clubs, my decision to join was influenced by one special player—playing alongside him has always been a lifelong dream. He represents everything I want to be on the pitch. Joining this project isn’t just a career move; it’s about fulfilling that dream.”

THE “CASEMIRO” CONNECTION:‼️ The Legend Who Sealed the Deal

While fans initially speculated he was referring to Bruno Fernandes or Kobbie Mainoo, insiders confirm that Valverde’s decision was heavily influenced by his former mentor, Casemiro.

• The “Father Figure”: Valverde famously viewed Casemiro as a “big brother” during their time together at Real Madrid.

• The “One Last Dance”: With Casemiro’s contract expiring this summer, reports suggest Valverde wants to arrive in time for one final season alongside the Brazilian legend to “hand over the baton” in the United midfield.

• The “Ugarte” Link: Valverde’s arrival would also see him unite with international teammate Manuel Ugarte, creating an all-Uruguayan “Steel Wall” in the heart of Carrick’s midfield.

INEOS READY TO PAY:‼️ The £104M Record

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Dan Ashworth have reportedly already “tabled the bid” to Real Madrid. The offer is said to be close to €120M (£104M), which would shatter Manchester United’s transfer record set by Paul Pogba.

• The Condition: Valverde has allegedly told Real Madrid he will leave if Arbeloa remains in charge next season.

• The Role: Carrick has reportedly guaranteed Valverde a “complete midfielder” role, giving him the freedom to box-to-box dominance he has lacked under recent Madrid systems.

FANS REACT:‼️ “The Final Piece”

United fans are already hailing Valverde as the “Missing Engine” needed to sustain their Top 4 charge. With United currently sitting three points above Chelsea (following the Casemiro goal verdict), the addition of Valverde would arguably make them title favorites for 2027.

Is Federico Valverde the player who finally restores Manchester United to the top of Europe? And can Casemiro convince him to sign before the summer window even opens?
