Jamie Carragher has highlighted what he believes to be Ruben Amorim’s most significant error since assuming the role at Manchester United.
Amorim, who gained recognition as one of Europe’s most promising young managers due to his achievements at Sporting Lisbon, took over as Erik ten Hag’s successor in November. The 39-year-old agreed to a two-and-a-half-year deal, with the possibility of a 12-month extension.
His task was to turn around United’s fortunes after a poor beginning to the Premier League season, where they had secured only three wins from their first nine matches, which resulted in Ten Hag’s firing.
