CUNHA VS CARRICK! “HOW DARE HE SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!” — MAN UNITED STAR ISSUES BRUTAL “IT’S HIM OR ME” ULTIMATUM.

The “Carrick Revolution” hasn’t just hit a speed bump—it has just triggered a nuclear internal explosion! In a post-match fallout that is sending shockwaves through the Stretford End, Manchester United forward Matheus Cunha has reportedly gone rogue, delivering a career-defining ultimatum that could change the face of the club this summer.

Following the devastating 2-1 defeat at St. James’ Park—where United’s title hopes were left in tatters by a 94th-minute winner—the dressing room reportedly became a battleground. Sources claim that interim boss Michael Carrick singled out Cunha for a lack of “defensive work rate,” leading to a confrontation that has broken the trust between the player and the coach.

“COMPLETELY CROSSED THE LINE”: CUNHA’S EXPLOSIVE OUTBURST.

Cunha, who arrived in a £62 million deal from Wolves last summer and has been a vital part of United’s climb to 3rd place, didn’t hold back when speaking to inner circles after the match. The Brazilian is reportedly “disgusted” by the way Carrick addressed him in front of his teammates.

“Though I played poorly today, how DARE he speak to me in that manner—even Ruben Amorim NEVER treated me like that!” Cunha reportedly fumed. “For me, he has COMPLETELY crossed the line, I can’t take it anymore. I won’t play for this club again—it’s either HE leaves or I leave, and that’s FINAL. This changes everything at Manchester United.”

THE “AMORIM COMPARISON”: A SHIV TO THE HEART OF CARRICK’S REGIME 📉🛑

By referencing former manager Ruben Amorim, Cunha has exposed the fragile nature of the current United leadership. While Carrick has been praised for returning to a 4-2-3-1 system and getting results, Cunha’s comments suggest that the “togetherness” he previously praised is now a myth.

Why the “Cunha Crisis” is a Disaster for INEOS:

1. The Investment: United spent over £200m last summer, with Cunha being the crown jewel. Losing him after just one season would be a massive financial and tactical failure.

2. The Locker Room Split: Insiders suggest that several Brazilian stars, including Casemiro, are “concerned” by Carrick’s aggressive tone during the Newcastle autopsy.

3. The Summer Void: With Marcus Rashford on loan at Barcelona and Jadon Sancho at Aston Villa, United cannot afford to lose another elite wide attacker.

“IT’S HIM OR ME”: THE SUMMER SHOWDOWN.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS hierarchy now face an impossible choice. Carrick has a win rate of over 70% since taking over, but Cunha is the club’s most creative force.

• “If Carrick is the reason we lose Cunha, then Carrick has to go. You don’t sell your best players to keep an interim coach!” one fan shouted on a viral TikTok.

• “Cunha needs to humble himself. You lost us the game today with those missed chances. Carrick is right to be angry!” countered a United supporter on X.

THE END OF THE TITLE RACE?

With Manchester United now trailing the leaders and the “85% Title Chance” officially dead, the focus has shifted to survival. If Cunha follows through on his threat and refuses to play in the upcoming FA Cup rematch, Carrick’s “dream job” could turn into a nightmare before the season even ends.

One thing is certain: The “United DNA” is being tested like never before. It’s him or me. Who stays, and who goes?

SHOULD UNITED SACK CARRICK TO SAVE CUNHA? OR IS THE PLAYER AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE BADGE?
