BREAKING NEWS: “Everyone Makes Mistakes!” — Harry Maguire Hits Back at Bruno Fernandes After Dressing Room “Mannerless” Outburst.

The “Redemption Era” under Michael Carrick is facing its most explosive internal test yet. While the fans and manager are focused on the VAR scandal that robbed Manchester United F.C. of a win in their 2-2 draw against AFC Bournemouth, a “nuclear” rift has reportedly opened up between the team’s most senior leaders.

Harry Maguire, who was sent off in the 80th minute for a “soft” challenge on Evanilson, has reportedly broken his silence on a heated confrontation that took place in the dressing room. The target of his frustration? Captain Bruno Fernandes.

“In football everybody makes mistakes, even him,” Maguire reportedly told close associates, referencing the penalty incident. “Fernandes has cost us before in the past but nobody said anything. What he said to me in the dressing room shows how mannerless he can be as a captain.”

The Captain’s Critique: What Triggered the Outburst?

The tension reportedly boiled over when Fernandes—who scored a penalty and forced an own goal during the match—expressed his “extreme frustration” at the defensive lapse that led to the equalizer.

While Fernandes publicly defended the team by calling out the referee’s inconsistency regarding the Amad Diallo penalty denial, insiders claim his tone behind closed doors was “far more clinical and personal.”

BRUNO FERNANDES SHOULDN’T BE SAYING THIS AS A CAPTAIN 🤧🤧

Maguire, who had just been recalled to the England squad by Thomas Tuchel, reportedly felt “singled out” for a mistake that he believes was a direct result of the team’s overall defensive disorganization earlier in the move.

The “Hero to Villain” Night: Maguire’s Perspective

Before the red card, Maguire was having a “commanding” game, even playing a pivotal role in United’s second goal when his presence forced James Hill into an own goal.

“It was so soft,” Maguire posted on Instagram earlier, but the “mental toll” of being criticized by his own captain has clearly left a mark. “You would think both decisions [Amad vs. Evanilson] would reach the same outcome,” he added, highlighting the “baffling” standards that saw him dismissed while Bournemouth escaped a similar penalty call.

Fans React: “A Leadership Crisis?”

The United faithful are torn between backing their “talismanic captain” or their “resilient veteran.”

• “Bruno is the heartbeat of this team, but he needs to keep the criticism private. You don’t go after a teammate who just got a red card for a soft foul!” one fan tweeted.

• “Maguire is right about the mistakes. Bruno isn’t perfect, but he’s the only one showing real passion. We need this fire, just directed at the right people,” another countered.

What’s Next? The Leeds Clash and a Suspension Crisis

With Harry Maguire now officially suspended for the high-stakes clash against Leeds United on April 13, Michael Carrick must work fast to “heal the wounds” in the dressing room. Will the international break provide the “cooling-off period” needed, or has the relationship between the Captain and the former Skipper reached a “point of no return”?
