Man Utd ‘sources’ reveal most ‘likely’ destination for Marcus Rashford as transfer saga takes new twist
After the derby, Rashford disclosed to journalist Henry Winter that he was prepared to pursue a new challenge.
He mentioned: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.”
Since then, the 27-year-old has been connected to a move away from Old Trafford, with interest coming from clubs in the Saudi Pro League, the MLS, and across Europe.
Marcus Rashford’s most probable destination revealed
It has now been suggested that Rashford’s most likely move could be to a European club.
According to The Athletic, Italy seems to be the most probable destination, with AC Milan reportedly looking for a new winger.
The article mentioned: “The market for him seems limited because of his high wages, which most clubs cannot afford. A creative solution and financial support from United would be necessary.”
“Sources believe that Italy is the most probable destination, and Milan is in need of a winger, particularly on the right.”
After Rashford was excluded from United’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool due to an ‘illness’, Amorim stated: “It’s the same situation. Right now, he is unwell. He is not participating in training.”
“We’ll see what happens in the future, but this is just like any other player; I make my selection. So, it’s the same.”
He continued: “I believe he will be unavailable this week. We’ll see, but I expect him to be out this week.”
United will return to action this weekend when they face Arsenal in the FA Cup. The Red Devils will aim to keep defending their title and end their four-match winless streak.
