Liverpool have reportedly initiated talks to acquire RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško, whose release clause is currently set at £58 million. This clause is subject to increase based on performance metrics such as games played, goals scored, and assists. Notably, while Liverpool have shown interest, Arsenal and Chelsea are considered the frontrunners for Šeško’s signature.

Šeško, aged 21, has been in impressive form, netting 17 goals in 34 appearances this season. Despite extending his contract with RB Leipzig until 2029, he is reportedly open to a move, with his preference leaning towards a transfer to London, where Arsenal and Chelsea lead the pursuit.

Other Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle, and Aston Villa, are also reportedly interested in the Slovenian forward. However, with the transfer window closed until the summer, any potential move will likely be finalized during the next transfer window.
