Fans are all pointing the finger at the same PSG player after Liverpool snatch stunning win against all odds

Fans have criticized a Paris Saint-Germain player after his costly mistake allowed Liverpool to snatch a surprise victory in their Champions League encounter.

On Wednesday evening, Liverpool achieved a stunning 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, despite being dominated throughout the game by the French club.

The French team controlled the match, but they were unable to score due to a stellar performance by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Following the match, supporters took to social media to express their displeasure with one PSG player, holding him responsible for putting his team at a disadvantage going into the second leg at Anfield.

A late chance, created by substitutes Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliott, led to Liverpool’s only real opportunity of the game, which was confidently converted by Elliott to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

However, many fans have pointed out that PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma could have and should have done more to prevent the goal, sharing their frustrations online.

“Donnarumma had nothing to do for 90 minutes, yet conceded on the first shot he faced. Most overrated goalkeeper ever.”

One fan remarked: “There’s no worse goalkeeper in the Champions League than Donnarumma in the past four years.”

Another added: “Alisson had to make a thousand saves and did, but Donnarumma had one chance and failed. How is this guy still playing at the elite level?”

One more stated: “The deciding factor in this match was that one team had Alisson in goal, and the other had Donnarumma.”

The Italian keeper had a relatively uneventful night, but ultimately fell short when his team needed him most at the crucial moment.

What made Donnarumma’s mistake even more glaring was the performance of his counterpart, Alisson, who made an impressive nine saves during the match.
